HHS choir members selling value cards

Hillsboro High School choir members have been selling value cards as a fundraiser beginning March 15. The current cards expire March 31.

Proceeds from value-card sales are the fundraiser for the choir?s trip to Branson, Mo., in May. The choir will be singing at the Grand Old Gospel Hour as well as taking in the musical ?Noah? with a backstage tour, and the show by Six, an a cappella group.

Purchasing a card from a choir member will help defray that student?s cost of the trip, said Lynn Just, director.

Value cards offer discounts on specified products at participating businesses. Those businesses include Alco, Ampride, Brenda?s Bloomers, Jess? Tresses, La Cabana, Little Pleasures, Mary?s Mats & More, Nancy?s Fashion, Odds ?N Ends, Rod?s Tire & Service, Quick Flick, Quilts & Quilt Racks, Thee Bookstore, The Cut Above and Vogt?s HomeTown Market.
