The Hillsboro High School Band received a ?I? rating at the Kansas State Fair, said Gregg Walker, band director.
Drum major Ashlyn Simmons was also recognized along with band officers Austin Jost, president; Matthew Wiebe, secretary/ treasurer; Rachel MacKenzie, Ashlyn Simmons, Allister Young, Kimberly Brown, Austin Jost, Matt Richert, section leaders; Becca MacKenzie and Rachel MacKenzie, flag captains. Other officers included Carly Weisbeck, Casie Allen and Trey Carson.
