HHS asking for alumni photos to replace stolen panels

The Hillsboro High School office staff is asking the public for student photos from seven graduating classes in an effort to replace photos that were stolen last summer.

Secretary Donna Dalke said the photos were taken during the building construction project. The seven missing classes were part of a larger display of graduating classes.

?We?re trying to get the word out to people that we?d like people to bring in a new picture in so we can make a panel (for each of the missing classes),? Dalke said.

The missing classes are 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 2001 and 2002.

Dalke said they would like to have wallet-size graduate photos submitted by March 13.

?We could scan photos if we had to, and even have old yearbooks,? she said. ?But those are sometimes cropped so much; we just thought we could start over with some good photos.?

Dalke said it is not known who took the seven class panels. ?We all have our own ideas of what happened, but nothing that can be substantiated,? she said.

Anyone with questions about replacement photos can contact Dalke at the HHS office: 947-3991.
