Fifth-grade students volunteered last Thursday and Friday to dress up like rock stars and greet people at morning student dropoff and afternoon pickup to promote the Hillsboro Elementary School Book Fair. The students held up signs reminding parents of the upcoming event. The HES book fair started Monday and will run through Friday, Oct. 15. The students were dressed up as rock stars as part of the music theme for the fair, ?Reading Rocks @ the HES Book Fair.?
