Heinrichs receives top Hutch News scholarship

Darcy Heinrichs, Hillsboro High School senior, was named the statewide winner of a $1,000 journalism scholarship from the Hutchinson News Journalism Scholarship Pro?gram. Darcy Heinrichs, Hillsboro High School senior, was named the statewide winner of a $1,000 journalism scholarship from the Hutchinson News Journalism Scholarship Pro?gram.? To earn the scholarship, Darcy Heinrichs, who is editor of the Oracle school magazine, was required to submit transcript information and writing samples, plus write an essay on, ?Why I want to be a journalist.? She plans to attend DePaul University in Chicago this fall.
