Good News youth bake sale raises $1,233 for Haiti relief

The youth of Good News Christian Fellowship, Marion, raised $1,233.61 for earthquake relief at a ?Bake Sale for Haiti,? Feb. 6, at The Shepherd?s Shed in Marion. The proceeds will go to Haiti Lifeline Ministries out of Hesston, which oversees the administration of the Centre for Children International Lifeline Haiti Orphanage. ?We had so many people come in and buy and donate,? said Robin Dicks, The Shepherd?s Shed owner. ?The kids did a great job today bringing people in. We sold every single item. Thanks to all of you who baked, donated money and bought baked goods.?
