Good health the focus of Oct. 3 LIR session

Good health is is the focus of the next Learning in Retirement program Oct. 3.

Twig Marston, director of NE Nebraska Extension & Research, will share how modern farming and livestock production has changed as consumers have become more concerned about the safety and nutritional value of their food.

LIR meets at 9:45 a.m. in the lobby of the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center. Registration for the full series of progams is $15 per semester for an individual or $29 per couple. Admission to a single session is $4.

LIR participants can take in lunch in the cafeteria following the program for a discounted price. An additional fee of $4 will be charged for those who wish to partake.
