Goessel High School class of 1967 gathers for 50th reunion

GHS class of 1967

The Goessel High School class of 1967 held its 50th reunion at The Barn Bed and Breakfast at Valley Falls, Nov. 7-9. The first evening, Jamey Ratzlaff entertained us with his talents on the guitar, piano, harmonica and voice. The next day after breakfast the group went to The Blind Tiger restaurant in Topeka for lunch and several then went on to visit the Capitol. The evening was spent remembering the four members the class has lost, reviewing personal articles in “The Bluebird” and viewing pictures from the past. After breakfast the last morning, we said good-byes and went home with fond memories of the time spent together. Members shown are: top row (from left), Steve Fensky, Ira Schroeder, Keith Banman, Jamey Ratzlaff, Earl Goossen, Dolores (Rosfeld) Stone; middle row, Diane (Ratzlaff) Voth, Brenda (Goertzen) Buller, Sharon Koehn, Wilma (Guhr) Copeland, Janice (Wedel) Voth; front row, Sharon (Funk) Adrian, Linette (Flaming) Koehn, JoAnn (Schmidt) Nickel, Jennalee (Wedel) Boggs.
