The Go Getters was the top team qualifier at the Marion USBC Association 50th City Bowling Tournament, Feb. 19-20 and 26-27, at SherBowl Lanes.
The field consisted of 12 teams, 18 doubles, 36 singles and 32 all-event participants.
The Go Getters (Cinnamon Funk, Josh Funk, Donna Funk, Tiffany Knaak, Jason Funk) rolled a 3,171 for first place. Behind them were Marion Manufacturing at 2,982, Carlson?s Grocery at 2,943, Cardie Oil & Tire at 2,938 and Straub International at 2,886
In the scratch competition, SherBowl Lanes (Donna Funk, John Brewer, Dan Sherbert, Jason Funk, Ron Kreutziger) took first with a score of 2,474.
In doubles (handicap), Kathy Keyes and Mindi Svitak won with a 1,278. They were followed by Don Druse & Jack Martin 1,242, Doug Marler and Willard Glasgow 1,226, Kathy Bernhardt and Deb Steward 1,211 and Shawn Geis and Gloria Seifert 1,186.
Doug Marler and Willard Glasgow were the scratch doubles winner with a 1,073.
