GHS students selected for KMEA groups

g.KMEA-State-Band-and-Choir.jpg Five students from Goessel High School will participate in the 2008 All-State Kansas Music Educators Association band or choir. For the Class 1234A State-Wide Honor Band, juniors Amy Brubaker and Laura Unruh were selected for the clarinet section and sophomore Kristen Hoffman was selected for the french horn section. Selected for the State Honor Choir were seniors Sara Sebring, soprano one, and Katie Flaming, alto one. Sebring and Brubaker were selected for the second year, and Flaming for her third.
