Demolition work under way at Goessel school

Gossel DemolitionA crew from McPherson Wrecking was on site at Goessel High School last week to tear down the old metal portion of the agricultural education wing. This was done in preparation for building the new wing that will house agricultural education, high school science and family and consumer science in a learning community. All of the steel and tin was salvaged and recycled, according to Superintendent John Fast. Over the Christmas holidays, Funk Electric will be relocating utilities. The new construction is expected to begin sometime in March.
