County 4-Hers compete at Kansas State Fair

Several Marion County youth are exhibitors at the Kansas State Fair, which started Friday and will continue through Sunday.

Exhibit projects range from woodworking and rockets to clothing, livestock and food.

Ribbon groups are awarded as purple, blue, red and white. Premiums will be paid only to the purple, blue and red groups, with the purple and blue groupings receiving the same premium, a spokesperson said.

Judging continues throughout the week, and more participants and ribbon winners will be published in the Sept. 23 edition of the Free Press.

The following list includes 4-H members, their projects, the ribbon earned and the club they represent.
