◼ Autumn Colgin of Can­ton was one of 114 Kansas Wes­leyan University students named to the Presi­dent’s Honor Roll for the fall semester. Full-time students with a semester grade-point average of at least 3.75, and no incompletes, are listed on the President’s Honor Roll at the end of each semester.
◼ Kristen D. Herzet, a biology from Marion, was among nearly 200 Bethany College students to be named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester. To qualify, students must be enrolled full-time and earn a semester grade-point average of 3.5.
◼ Several students from the Free Press distribution area received academic distinction at Bethel College during the fall semester. To qualify, a student must have completed a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours. Students with a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher were named to the Dean’s List, while those with a GPA of 3.50-3.699 are listed as members of the Honor Roll.
The local students on the Dean’s List are (freshmen) Krista Loomis of Walton, Anna Lubbers of Peabody; Jennifer Meysing of Goessel; (sophomores) Luke Unruh of Goessel, Anna Wiens of Goessel; (juniors) Heath Goertzen of Goessel; Nicholas Preheim of Peabody; (seniors) Reece Hiebert of Walton; Ben Wiens of Goessel.
Local students on the Honor Roll are freshman Autumn Strecker and junior Sarah Booth, both from Goessel.
◼ Two students from Hillsboro received academic honors for the fall semester from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Hannah Bostic made the Dean’s List for achieving a grade-point average from 3.5 to 3.99; Graham Pankratz made the Presi­dent’s List for a 4.0 GPA.
