Centre FFAers attend leadership lab



CentreHighSchoolFFA Three Centre FFA members attended the Kansas FFA Leader Lab Leadership Conference March 15 and 16 in Junction City. Pictured with presenter Kelly Barnes are (from left) Taylor Peterson, Carrie Carlson and Kevin Lewis. According to Laura Klenda, Centre High School?s FFA adviser, members learned aspects of authentic leadership, teamwork, techniques to improve their public speaking skills and networked with 170 other FFA members from around the state. In addition to Barnes, a motivational speaker and former state FFA president in Oklahoma, the youth also heard from Rhett Laubach, veteran professional leadership trainer.
