Centre FFA members traveled to Goessel High School March 28 to compete in the Ag Sales and Ag Business Career Development Events, said Laura Klenda, FFA advisor.
The Ag Business team took first place in the South Central District and all three members of the team placed in the top five; Tanner Brunner placed fourth, Brian Burhoop placed second, and Cole Svoboda placed first.
The Ag Business CDE consisted of a Problem Set and Knowledge Tests. The Ag Sales teams placed first in the A-Team division and first in the B-Team division.
Individuals placing in the top 10 in the Ag Sales CDE included: Carrie Carlson, first place; Theo Kassebaum, fifth; Bryanna Svoboda, seventh and Terren Thompson, eighth.
A-Team members included Carrie Carlson, Theo Kassebaum, Shane Methvin, and Terren Thompson.
B-Team members were Bryanna Svoboda, Ty Simons, Grant Srajer, Timothy Vinduska, Kaylenn Miller, Makenzie Deines, Kevin Lewis, and Kristy Laing.
