Centre FFA members traveled April 2 to Great Bend to compete in the South Central District and Barton County Invitational Farm Management and Ag Sales CDEs.
The Ag Sales team finished first with all four team members in the top 10: Nellie Hill, first, Julie Rziha, second, Amy Hajek, fifth, and Kristine Jirak, sixth.
The Farm Management team finished second with team members Kevin Mueller in third, Alfonse Klenda in sixth, Jo Terwilliger in seventh and Gloria Belton.
Members of the Centre FFA Chapter also traveled March 30 to Fort Scott to compete in a variety of events.
The Ag Business team finished second with team members Jo Terwilliger in second and Kevin Mueller in fourth individually. Alfonse Klenda was the third team member.
The Dairy Foods team finished fifth with Savik Howard finishing ninth individually. Other team members were Alisha Barney, Kristine Jirak and James Weber.
Julie Rziha finished fifth in Junior Public Speaking. Heath Hill finished eighth in the Freshmen Division.
