Centre FFA does well at SCD competition

On Wednesday, March 27th, members of the Centre FFA Chapter traveled to Marion to participate in the South Central District (SCD) Poultry Evaluation CDE, and Agronomy CDEs (Career Development Event). In the Poultry CDE, Greenhands evaluated live production hens, meat products of chickens, interior and exterior quality of eggs, they also identified parts of a chicken and a written exam. Quinten Bina placed 18th in the Greenhand Division in Poultry. Centre hosted the Agronomy CDE for the SCD and parts of the CDE consisted of plant and seed identification, seed analysis, grain grading, and agronomic calculations quiz. Centre FFA members who competed in the Greenhand Division were Tanner Stuchlik, Emily Casey, Kyle Peterson, Alex Remmers, Mikey Silhan, they placed 4th as a Team.
