Centre FFA competes in food science event

Centre FFA traveled to Marion, Feb. 13 to compete in the Food Science Career Development Event.

The Food Science CDE consisted of four parts: general food science test, aromas test, triangle test and food safety test.

The freshmen team finished second. Tyler Klenda finished seventh individually. Other freshmen who competed were Ben Baker, Tanner Brunner, Brian Burhoop, Amanda Floyd, Ripley Howard, Casey Kristek, Adam Matz, Katie Remy, Tori Marler, Allison Shields and Cole Svoboda.

The A-team finished seventh with team members Nathan Barney, Konley Harding, Savik Howard and Leann Pankratz competing.
