Agriland was designed as a hands-on experiential learning area to guide children through the world of agriculture. It is designed to show connections of agriculture to participant’s daily lives.
Along the trip through Agriland, many adults learn about agriculture as well. Areas manned included a Simulated Combine driving during harvest, Blossom the Dairy Cow that allows kids to experience milking a cow, Livestock Scale where students can compare their weight to an agriculture product, My Plate Nutrition magnet matching, and a Beef Display where kids can sit in a saddle and view what herding cattle on a horse is like to name a few.
FFA members attending the fair were Zach Barney, Jacob Bittle, Becca Casey, Meghan David, Payton Harms, Austin Peterson, Grace Peterson, Max Svoboda, Grace Knepp, Jensen Riffel, Dalton Stika, Cailey Barney, Elias Jirak, Dillon Knepp, Tyler Nickel, Cameron Spohn and Lacey Wingerd.
