Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marion County is preparing a 2011 calendar that will feature photos of babies of Marion County as a fundraising project for its local mentoring program.
Big Brothers Big Sisters aims to children reach their potential through long-term relationships with carefully screened adult volunteers. In 2009, BBBS served 188 children in the county.
Ro be considered for the calendar, the custodial parent or guardian must live in Marion County and submit a signed consent release form.
Only the child?s first name will be used in the calendar. The child must be no older than 18 months at the time the photo was taken.
All photos must be submitted in digital format to Phoebe Janzen at janzepho@gmail.com no later than Sept 1. The e-mail must also include the name of the parent and child.
Photos may be staged to reflect holidays, special occasions or simply the baby?s charm and personality. Organizers encourage parents to be be creative. Due to limited space, not every photo will be used.
Sponsors or volunteers may use my child?s photo for the 2011 Babies of Marion County calendar and for promotion of that calendar and hereby waive all rights of compensation.
