Centre High School sophomore Michael Beeler received a ?I? rating April 24 on his vocal solo at the Kansas Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Stucky Middle School.
In addition, this was Beeler?s second year to qualify for the state competition, said Lynley Remy, music instructor.
?Michael?s pieces were ?Santa Lucia? and ?The Jolly Miller,?? she said.
