The Hillsboro Trojan Band and the Hillsboro Middle School band each received a ?I? rating at the Kansas State Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 12.
The high school band marched in the state fair parade for the first time in many years and received a ?II+? for their parade performance.
This year?s Trojan Band is led by Caitlin Reimer, drum major, David Vogel, president, and Sara Jones, flag captain.
Section leaders are April Young, Caitlin Reimer, Katrina Muzyka, Viktoria Bichet, Kimberly Brown, David Vogel, Spencer Brown, Clay Shewey, Mitchell Koop and Isaac Leihy.
