As part of American Education Week, Hillsboro Elementary School welcomed more than 400 parents and grandparents last Thursday to enjoy lunch and a program with one or more students. Some grandparents traveled across the state to spend time visiting with their grandchildren, a school official said. Both the cafeteria and gymnasium were used to accommodate everyone for lunch.
