4-H News (Sept. 9, 2009)

Tampa Triple T?s 4-H Club members enjoyed an evening of softball for their Aug. 28 meeting at the Tampa Ball Diamond.

Roll call was, ?Your favorite baseball team.?

Leader Beth Riffel reminded members that 4-H Record Books are due Friday, Sept. 25. New forms are being used this year and are on the Marion County Web site.

Olivia Kliewer gave a talk about blister beetles. Morganne Hamm gave a talk about KSU football. Her brother Lucas Hamm plays for the Wildcats. Be watching for No. 49 this season. Ethan Frantz told about the Skill-a-Thon at Manhattan. He took first place.

Families brought snacks for the evening. Hosts were the Hamm and Berens families.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 7, at the Tampa Senior Center.
