Goessel Goal Getters.

An interesting program kept more than 60 Goessel Goal Getter 4-Hers, leaders, parents and guests attentive at the club?s Nov. 2 meeting at the Goessel Elementary School.

Kaleb Dailey showed how to make different types of woodworking joints, Ethan Dailey outlined the basics of art design, Jacob Dailey explained how to take award-winning photographs, and Shelbi Stultz shared her cute, one-week-old Nigerian Dwarf goat.

Historians Olivia Duerksen and Rebekah Herrel were on hand to take pictures of the new-member installation services. The following members were welcomed into the club: Luke Unruh, Luke Weiser, Alexandria Nickel, Brooke Nafziger, Kara Burkholder, Alyssa Burkholder, Brandon Porter, Jared Janzen, Brody Schroeder, Bailey Keogh and Jerah Schmidt.

Announcements included discussion of a new club T-shirt design, trash pickup details for Nov. 14, a junior leader meeting for Christmas party planning and plans for the entertainment portion of the Marion County Achievement Banquet Nov. 6.

Recreation was led by Jake Herrel and Shelbi Stultz and snacks were provided by the Janzen and Meier families.

The club members meet next Dec. 7 for a Christmas party!
