Well done

? The Goessel school district is positioned for continued excellence with its upgraded facilities.

We congratulate Goessel Unified School District 411 upon the very near completion of its $3.3 million building project. Senior and junior high students, plus their teachers, moved last Thurs?day into the three new classrooms dedicated to serving science, agricultural education, and family and consumer science classes. The addition will serve the district well.

Certainly, congratulations go to district patrons, who approved the project back in 2013 to the tune of 96 percent affirmation when the votes were counted. It was a progressive decision at a time when the future of rural school districts in this state is uncertain, given funding cuts and reduced tax revenues. Goessel is now positioned as well as anybody to continue providing a future of excellence for its students. ?DR
