This fall is the first such season in 27 years that I won’t call Hillsboro home. That’s the longest I’ve lived anywhere, which ended with our move to a nearby community this past May. And even though I continue to work and go to church here, there is a sadness about this change. Hillsboro people have been good to me and my family over these years. God especially blessed us in a whole variety of ways through the schools and through the Ebenfeld congregation. So even though I will still see many of you around, and we have a strong connection through First Mennonite Church and Tabor College, I wanted to say a big thank you for all the generosity, kindness, and service that we and my children have received over the years. God’s blessings to you all!
