Tabor president excited about new school year

When my wife and I arrived as Tabor College President and First Lady in July 2021, we were

overwhelmed with the welcome and goodwill extended to us by the Tabor, Hillsboro, and Marion County communities. In recent weeks, it has been a joy to see the community welcome new and returning students to Tabor. From the fun atmosphere of the Cruise Night to the Hillsboro Mayor and city staff/leaders handing out welcome bags to students, I see that Tabor continues to be valued and welcomed here. Thank you!

I am so delighted that the City of Hillsboro and the USDA are partnering with Tabor to establish the Central Kansas Entrepreneurship Center which will serve both the college and community. We hope that this first year is only the beginning of exciting innovations and entrepreneurial activities for our community and the world. I look forward to seeing new and growing local businesses as a result of these efforts.

Tabor provides a plethora of enriching events including concerts, musicals, lectures, and athletic contests. We welcome the community to visit campus to attend events this year and to eat in the dining hall on Sundays after church. A schedule of upcoming events is available at
