I think everyone knows by now?at least everyone who has a television set?that the analog signal broadcast by TV stations will convert to digital Feb. 9. Therefore, your TV antenna will not bring in the signal and you will need to get a converter box to make it work.
Anyone who already receives a digital signal through their cable or dish provider already gets a digital signal and won?t be affected.
I saw a link to a video about the conversion on Megan Duerksen?s blog that was hilarious. It?s titled ?Oh Grandma.?

Lately while driving, I?ve been watching for deer and have seen only coyotes and turkeys. Actually, I seldom see deer.

I see where the State of Kansas is considering closing some of its jails in Kansas and that Wichita is talking about shifting some of its prisoners to these locations to ease crowding in Sedgwick County.

I had to return the Prairie Home Companion joke tapes this past weekend so I listened to them one more time….
This guy is in a bar with only the bartender present. He hears a voice that says, ?You sure are handsome.? Then hears, ?Your clothes look great, too.? But no one else is there. Then the bartender says, ?Our peanuts are complimentary.?

We were discussing the use of video cameras to communicate via computers and what could happen if you weren?t presentable and happen to walk by when the video was on.
My answer would be to run when you are in front of the camera because it usually can?t keep up with a moving image and you would be blurred so bad no one could see anything.
