The annual HHS All-School Reunion is near. Be looking for this year?s edition of the Alumni Asso?ciation Oracle that is being mailed this week. It has the details of this year?s event Saturday, May 26, in the fellowship hall at the Hills?boro MB?Church.
As I have said in the past, we have no way of making sure everyone gets this publcation in the mail. It is virtually impossible to keep up with all the addresses, so please share the information with your classmates and friends. We do get updated addresses from some of the classes that are planning special reunions each year.

I didn?t finish telling about our trip to the Pacific Northwest in last week?s column. About 2 a.m. Tuesday, on the way home from the Kansas City airport, we were stopped along I-35 somewhere between Ottawa and Emporia. I knew I wasn?t speeding so didn?t know why we were being pulled over. Found out our tag light had burned out and received a warning to fix it as soon as possible.
We also learned we had so many proof of insurance papers in the glove box that we couldn?t find the current one. A word to the wise: Throw away the old ones and only keep the current one in the glove box.
Does anyone keep gloves in the glove box?

We also learned that you are not allowed to pump your own gasoline in Oregon. To create jobs, they require that an attendant pump the gas. They don?t clean your windshield or check your oil?they just take your credit card, swipe it at the pump and give it back to you while the gas pumps in. When finished, they pull the nozzle out and you are free to leave.
