Office isn’t getting any cleaner

So far, cleaning the office is not going well. In fact, there is more stuff in here now than there was a month ago.

We decided to move the exercise bike into the spare bedroom and exchange it for the Church pew bench that was in the spare bedroom.

And just like Nancy said I would use it for a shelf and I have. It is so handy to have another big shelf that can hold large piles of stuff.

Good thing we can shut the door and it all goes away.

Hard to believe. but we have now lived here in this house for more than five years, going on six. I am looking forward to warmer weather when I can get back outside and get some things done out there.

I have apparently been without my money clip since we got back from our trip and was unaware of it.

This past Wednesday when Nancy took out the trash she was just going to roll out the barrel to the street. But thought maybe the bag she was holding might fit in there too. So she opened the barrel and there on top of the bag that was in there was my money clip which also has my driver’s license and credit cards in it too.

I have no idea of how it got there, but apparently it was me that threw it in there, although I have no memory of doing it.

On the flight back from vacation, we went through customs in Atlanta, and I asked. “When do we start running?” Nobody heard me say it, so I was the only one who got a laugh out of it. When we got to the first station I must have moved too fast to the front of the line and was told to get behind the yellow line on the floor.

In attempting to move behind the yellow line too quickly, I tripped over a suitcase behind me and now have a football-sized black and blue spot on my posterior not to mention the sore ribs where I landed on my elbow. Good thing the area was carpeted and made for a softer landing.

Then the next day when we were at home I tripped over a chair in the office and broke it. We’ve already asked Dan to fix it next time he comes and he has agreed. Nancy took it to the basement along with all of the other furniture that needs fixing.

Have you ever shopped for something online and then when you left that site and kept browsing, an ad for something that you looked at follows you wherever you go?

This is called retargeting and is done with a cookie that is dropped on your device to make it happen. Companies like Google, Facebook and Microsoft are very good at doing this. If you clear your cookies or install an app that prevents the ads from following you, you can stop this creepy experience.

Why are gas station bathrooms locked?

Are they afraid that someone will come in and clean them?
