Fellow staff and coworkers gathered for a retirement party last Wednesday for Ralph Janzen, head of maintenance at Hillsboro Public Schools. The celebration recognized his 20 years of service to the district, said Max Heinrichs, HES principal. ?It?s time for me to change gears,? Janzen said about retiring. Pictured with Janzen is Kay Carlson, a coworker who retired in 2009 as a custodian after 28 years.
