Marion woman expresses thanks over help with senior center

Thank You! For those of you who have helped, visited, donated or even thought about the Marion Senior Center, thank you!

We are continuing to plan events and gather help to meet our needs and restoration goals. Come on down and find your niche at the Senior Center.

We have been boosted by all the help from the community. If you joined us at the Soup dinner on Feb 19, it was wonderful seeing you and meeting as many of you as we could. Also, we want to personally thank the members of Our Savior Lutheran Church for all their help with the dinner. The boost it has given the Senior center and the buzz of joy it put on their faces cannot be replaced.

We continue to invite everyone to call in and join us for lunch at the Senior Center, maybe a game of cards, puzzle brain power or pool.

Too often we forget to say thank you, I want to thank all of our current and past volunteers! We could not make it without your help, delivering the meals on wheels is very important and preparing the meals enables us to provide the need.

If you are looking for a place to volunteer, we are always looking for drivers, kitchen help and help with commodities to name a few. If you are looking for friendship, our doors are open.

Janie Westerman, Marion
