Leo Club says thanks for support
The Hillsboro High School Leo Club wishes to thank HHS students, their parents and the community of Hillsboro and surrounding communities for supporting Marion County Project SEARCH, during the Leo’s fundraising week.
Through the community night at Wendy’s, various activities at the high school and a raffle at a Trojan basketball game, we were able to raise about $1,650 for the new program.
Marion County Project SEARCH, a new program that seeks to provide employment skills for special-needs students, will benefit the county as well as our communities.
The Leos would like to thank the following businesses and owners for contributing items for the our raffle: Powerdunk/Horseshoe Metal Works, Carol Wituk (massage therapist), Countryside Feed, Midway Motors, Instaboro (David Vogel), Handmade by Treena/ Thirty-One Gifts (Treena Lucero), LuLaRoe Clothing (Krista Matlock), Pampered Chef (Courtney Weber), Hillsboro Hardware Store, and Trades of Hope (Jamie Driggers).
A special thank-you to Hillsboro Wendy’s and all of the Wendy’s employees for making our community night run smoothly and successfully. Thank you so much to the community for your generosity.
