With more talk about rural Marion County roads, I have to agree that surface road conditions due to Mother Nature this fall and winter are as poor as I’ve seen in the 40 years I’ve resided on 280th Rd.
For the immediate time frame, I can only encourage and advise all people in our community to talk with our younger and less experienced drivers as well as lead by example to slow down and be safe while traveling these roads through out our county until surface conditions improve.
Along with a few good prayers, may we all try to avoid a needless tragedy with our own communities. Be safe, not sorry.
