Living proof

Who could communicate to young students the opportunities for jobs and careers?in their hometown or elsewhere?better than the people who once sat in the same classrooms and now are living proof that a fulfilling employment future is a realistic and tangible possibility?

We affirm the creativity and local focus that formed the vision of last week?s Kansas Day College and Career Readiness event developed by teachers Anne Janzen and Gita Noble at Hillsboro Middle School. Through personal presentations by Hills?boro High School alums, and tours of local businesses, it could well be that the next generation of successful entrepreneurs and talented workers has captured a vision for their future. Now, go for it! ?DR
