At approximately 1:17 a.m. on Sunday, March 5, Deputy Mabe initiated a traffic stop in Florence at 8th and Marion Street. Deputy Mabe and Sgt Regier made contact with the occupants and K9 Deputy Slater deployed K9 Blue for a free air sniff. Illegal narcotics, paraphernalia and a firearm were seized.
Curtis Heton, Cottonwood Falls, was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Eric Armstrong, Louisville, NE .was booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine.
