Reports of 4 to 6 inches of rain Sunday night resulted in flooding around Marion County.? By morning, five homes in Peabody had to be evacuated as Doyle Creek overflowed its banks, according to Randy Frank, Marion County Emergency Management director. Frank said Monday afternoon that he hoped the residents could re-enter their homes by the end of the day.
