The Peabody Warrior Booster Club spent a portion of November and December collecting new and gently used shoes. The fundraiser brought in 2,287 lbs of shoes. At $0.40/lb, that is $914.80. That money goes into their fund to help support student activities. This semester alone, the Booster Club provided over 420 meals to MS and HS student-athletes for away ball games.
“This will keep us going! Thank you, Peabody-Burns, and surrounding communities and to all your extended families that donated,” said booster club officials.
