Marion FFA Competes in Food Science Career Development Event

The Marion FFA Chapter helped to host the South Central District FFA Food Science Career Development event on Wednesday, Feb. 9.  Approximately 325 students from 26 schools from the South Central FFA district competed in the contest.

Participants in the event were required to identify different food aromas, complete a triangle test, evaluate food safety situations, and take a written test over the food science industry.

FFA members from Marion participated in the event. Team members competing from Marion included Sara Groening and Luke Watkins.
