Marion County man missing

Jason Hinton went missing on Tuesday, April 5, and still has not been found.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office announced on Friday that a man went missing from Marion County and was last seen in Chase County.

Jason Hinton is in his mid-forties and was driving a white Ford Ranger pickup when he wrecked on private property near milepost 318 off US50 near Cedar Point, Ks. This occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. Hinton walked off from his vehicle after wrecking. Damage to the truck was very minor, and no evidence of any injuries occurred.

He has not been found yet in spite of multiple search efforts.

There will be a K9 search and rescue team looking on Tuesday, April 12.
