Charlene Driggers (left) and Paula Perry hold up a quilt during the bed-turning event that was part of the Country Stitchers Quilt Guild luncheon Saturday, April 25 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. The luncheon was well attended by members and guests. During the ?turning of the bed,? a number of quilts are stacked on a bed for display, then each quilt is shown, one at a time, while its story is told. Once told, the quilt is laid aside so the next one can be shown. Also on display were items made for various challenges?such as where each member is given a piece of fabric to incorporate into a quilted item of their choosing.
