Main Street Ministries receives $4,000 donation from CG&S

Main Street Ministries receives $4,000 donation from CG&SMatthew Voth, vice chair of the Cooperative Grain & Supply board of directors, hands a check for $4,000 to Kimberly Swaney, director of Main Street Ministries in Hillsboro. The donation, which includes matching funds through CoBank?s ?Sharing Success? program, will be used to replace the heating and air conditioning unit for MSM?s Upper Room. CoBank is the main lender for CG&S. The ?Sharing Success? program matches dollar for dollar donations by cooperatives to rural community non-profit causes. ?Coop Grain & Supply and our Ampride stores believe in supporting our local communities and now have participated in matching programs totaling over $54,800 in support of area non-profit organizations since 2004,? said Lyman Adams, CG&S general manager. Also participating in the check presentation are Laura Legg, manager of the Ampride stores in Hillsboro and Marion, and Dale Nuss, chair of the Main Street Ministries board.
