Jeri Klose, president of the Hillsboro Community Hospital Auxiliary, presented Hillsboro High School senior Maci Kelsey with a $500 scholarship check last week. Klose said applications for the scholarship were requested last month and open to anyone at HHS interested in the health-care field. Kelsey said she plans to attend Hesston College this fall to pursue a nursing degree, and the funds will be useful toward that goal.
