Jim Brennan (top photo) works to remove a spot on the carpet at the Hillsboro Senior Center on Saturday. He was one of seven members of the Hillsboro Kiwanis Club who cleaned the carpet and wiped down chairs as this year?s ?Kiwanis One Day? project. The national organization encourages members to do a hands-on service project in their community on the first Saturday of April. In addition to Brennan, Kirby Rector, Kathy Rector, Mike Ryan, Clint Seibel, Bill Good and Jayson Hanschu helped with the project. |
