Parents of children age 4 through 18 interested in participating in the Hillsboro Wrestling Club are invited to an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the technology lecture hall on the south side of the high school.
The agenda includes signing up wrestlers, collecting fees and discussing the upcoming season.
Starting its 21st season, HWC had about 40 active wrestlers and seven USA Wrestling bronze level certified coaches a year ago.
Wrestlers compete in many area tournaments as well as the annual home tournament. Numerous wrestlers have qualified to compete at the state level. Last year, HWC produced two state placers, including its first state champion.
Parents unable to attend the meeting should contact Scott O?Hare, club director and coach, to make arrangements to sign up and pay fees prior to the first practice Nov. 18.
