Storyteller entertains HES students on state?s 148 birthday

Amish storyteller Leroy Hershberger entertained Hillsboro Elementary School students last Thursday with juggling and short stories during his visit on Kansas's 148th birthday. Meanwhile, women at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion observed the state?s birthday by watching a portrayal of Olympia Brown, an early Kansas minister who worked in the state?s suffrage movement.
