About 50 people turned out on a beautiful Saturday evening for a free concert on on the lawn of the Schaeffler House Museum at Jefferson and Grand streets. It was the first of two concerts planned by the Friends of the Hillsboro Museums as a community builder and fund-raiser. The group served a sloppy joe sandwich meal. The Spirit-N-Celebration boys ensemble from Hillsboro High School, pictured above and at right, sang as a warmup to Bob Delk and the Boys, a popular local instrumental group. In the right photo are the members of Spirit-N-Celebration boys ensemble: (from left) Darren Enns, Ben Heyen, David Vogel, Aaron Stepanek, Michael Suderman, Adam Dirks and Tyler Suderman.
