Elaine Nikkel, whose husband Larry is president of Tabor College, volunteered her services amid the rainy Friday weather to help a new freshman move her belongings into her dorm room. Freshmen students and their parents participated in various orientation activities over the weekend in preparation for their first year of college. Classes were scheduled to begin for all students on Tuesday.
