4-H skit offers youthful take on current events4-H-Skit4916.jpg

The Happy Hustlers 4-H Club provided Marion Elementary School children with a media skit during morning assembly Friday. The skit, ?FAKE News,? had Cassandra Stang and Cade Harms acting as anchors (bottom photo) while Micayla Stika talked to children about current events (top photo). Their news items dealt with topics such as forgotten animals and how the recession has made it difficult for both owners and pets alike. The news anchors explained how animals are being left to fend for themselves as owners move away due to lack of jobs or house foreclosure. Amy Kjellin helped coordinate the 4-H event.
